Hi my name is Ivor and welcome to my Arachnid Records Website. I have been a music collector and enthusiast for over 44 years. The first single I ever bought was Diamonds by Jet Harris and Tony Meehan, first LP was Are You Experienced by Hendrix, so I’ll leave you to figure out my age.

I started selling off my own collection, bit by bit, at Record Fairs in 1992 and on line since 1999 using GEMM, Netsounds and E Bay.

This year I decided to start Arachnid Records and turn my hobby into a business. So although this is a new venture I have years of experience of selling by mail order all over the world. I always try to offer the finest and most accurately described and graded records I can find. I grade very strictly as I’ve found this is the key to success, for mail order customers buy on trust of accurate grading.

We specialize in rare & collectable UK Lps and singles from the 60s to the present day. I pride myself on offering a variety of genres to keep my site as interesting as possible. From Punk to Progressive Rock, Folk to Funk. Soul to Soundtracks and much more...

All the pictures I use are taken with a digital camera, they are NOT improved, or cleaned-up with enhancing digital programmes.
